The VPE Elevon is a compact DSP active cardioid electrodynamic loudspeaker aimed at providing the best possible sound in your home. It is based on 21st Century DSP technologies, SOTA Class D amplification and the latest acoustic design concepts
from both consumer and pro high-end audio design.

The Elevon was the result of five years of careful design and experimentation and provides the best fit, electrically, acoustically and ergonomically for normal listening rooms from 150 to 500 sq. ft. The Elevon is unique in a number of regards, but the most important is the use of a powerful Analog Devices DSP processor for controlling the acoustic response of each driver including the crossover frequencies,
amplitude and timing, independently. As a result, the loudspeaker can be precisely matched to the acoustics of your room and your preferred timbre so your music reflects the recording venue and NOT your room’s colorations.

The Elevon integrates a 1000W suite of SOTA Class D power amplifiers, including two Orchard Audio SK25 150W GaN-FET modules for the midrange and the tweeter, and a powerhouse ICEPower 700W MOSFET module for the woofer. The Orchard GaN- FET amp has been found by our listening panel and many audio reviewers to be the most natural sounding Class D amplifier on the market due to its
superb design and its 1+MHz PWM switching frequency. Indeed, it rivals many of the best Class A amps on the market.
