The Model 1B Small Dipole Woofer provides a good fit electrically, acoustically and aesthetically for your small dipole loudspeakers such as the Magnepan LRS+ and 0.7X and the QUAD ESL-57, ESL-63 2812, 2912 and the new X Models from QUAD.

The Model 1B also mates well with small mini-monitors mounted on stands, including the Technics CX700 powered speakers, the KEF LS50 Meta and wireless speakers and the many LS3/5a BBC mini-monitors from Rogers, Chartwell, Spendor, Harbeth and others.

Unique to the Model 1B, the Dayton Audio DSP offers a parametric High Pass Filter which can be programmed to reduce the low frequency demand on the high pass speakers. This feature can provide significant benefits in lowering distortion and increasing safe output SPL levels for QUADs and other smaller panel speakers. The Model 1B is constructed of high quality Baltic Birch plywood and offered in a durable satin cabinet finish using a 2-part epoxy cabinet paint. (Other colors are available on request at additional cost.)
