The LDW Model 1A is a major update of our first product, the Little Dipole Woofer which we have been selling to Magnepan owners since 2020. The 1A improves on the original Model 1 in having a smaller, more rigid cabinet that is only 9” wide, enabling it to fit between the curved legs of the Magnepan factory stands, even on the smallest LRS+ model. Even so, the two 8” Dayton Audio RSS HO woofers pack a punch and are capable of augmenting Magnepans up to the 1.7 and 2.7X models.

The Model 1A are sold in pairs, using a single SPEAKERPOWER SP1-300 HT amp., and a “Master and Slave” configuration whereby the Master speaker cabinet supplies signal power to both the left and right woofers. The Model 1A can also be purchased with power amps in both speaker cabinets at a small upcharge.
