The VPE Crystal Dipole 2 is an open baffle loudspeaker which combines a 16”x 48” x ½” thick cast acrylic baffle with the award-winning Cube Audio F10 Select Full-Range driver. The F10 Select driver which offers high efficiency (90 dB for 1 watt input) and full range performance with flat frequency response and unmatched transparency and continuity.

Unlike older full-range driver designs, the F10 series is never “shouty” but
offers unmatched detail due to the lack of a passive crossover between your
amplifier output stage and the driver voice coil. The F10 can reproduce
realistic SPL with as little as 8 watts, (e.g., 300B triode tube capabilities).

The Crystal Dipole is mounted on Magna Riser Multi-Riser VII stands which
decouple it from the floor and whatever woofer you use to augment the full range driver. The baffles can be ordered clear, translucent bronze or gray,
or opaque black or white and offer 4 times the damping of wood baffles.

The Model 1 LDW and Model 2 BDW dipole woofers complement the
Crystal Dipole well and can be programmed to “fill in” the bass at 80Hz and
below, without requiring a high pass filter for the full-range driver. These
combinations extend the F10’s bass response to offer performance
competitive with any SOTA open baffle loudspeaker in the world at a affordable price.
